Anti-CD22 CAR-T cells (Affiliated Hospital to Academy of Military Medical Sciences) is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy designed to target the CD22 antigen, a cell surface glycoprotein primarily expressed on B-lineage cells. Developed by the Affiliated Hospital to Academy of Military Medical Sciences, the therapy involves the ex vivo genetic modification of a patient's own T lymphocytes to express a CAR specific for CD22. Once re-infused into the patient, these engineered cells recognize and bind to CD22-positive malignant cells, triggering T-cell activation and subsequent tumor cell lysis. This therapeutic approach is specifically being evaluated for patients with relapsed or refractory B-cell malignancies, including B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) and B-cell lymphoma, particularly as a salvage option for those who have relapsed after CD19-targeted CAR-T therapies.
