Anti-CD24 lentivirus refers to a lentiviral vector system designed to target or modulate the CD24 (Cluster of Differentiation 24) antigen. CD24 is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored surface protein often overexpressed in various cancers and associated with cancer stem cell properties, metastasis, and immune evasion. These lentiviral constructs are primarily utilized in research settings to either deliver short hairpin RNA (shRNA) for CD24 gene silencing or to express anti-CD24 chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) in T cells for the development of CAR-T cell therapies. As a gene delivery platform, it enables the study of CD24's role in tumor progression and serves as a critical component in the engineering of targeted immunotherapies.
