Anti-CD30 CAR-T Cell Injection is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by Zhejiang University for the treatment of relapsed or refractory CD30-positive lymphomas. The therapy involves genetically engineering a patient's own T cells to express a CAR that specifically targets the CD30 antigen (also known as TNFRSF8), a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily expressed on the surface of various malignant lymphoid cells, including Hodgkin lymphoma and certain non-Hodgkin lymphomas. Following lymphodepletion chemotherapy with fludarabine and cyclophosphamide, the engineered T cells are intravenously administered to the patient. Once in the body, these CAR-T cells recognize and bind to CD30-expressing tumor cells, leading to T-cell activation, expansion, and targeted cytotoxicity. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for a variety of CD30-positive hematologic malignancies.
