anti-CD30 CAR T-cells (Affiliated Hospital of Nantong University) is an investigational chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy being developed for the treatment of relapsed or refractory hematologic malignancies, including Hodgkin lymphoma, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and T-cell lymphoma. The therapy involves the genetic modification of T cells to express a CAR specific for CD30 (TNFRSF8), a cell surface marker highly expressed on Reed-Sternberg cells in Hodgkin lymphoma and certain subsets of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Upon re-infusion into the patient, these engineered T cells recognize and bind to CD30-positive tumor cells, triggering T-cell activation, proliferation, and targeted cytotoxicity. The Affiliated Hospital of Nantong University is conducting early-phase clinical trials to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy of this cell therapy, typically administered following a lymphodepleting conditioning regimen of fludarabine and cyclophosphamide.
