Overview

Anti-CD30-CAR-transduced T cells is an investigational autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by Southwest Hospital (Third Military Medical University) in China. The therapy involves genetically modifying a patient's own T cells to express a CAR that specifically targets the CD30 antigen (TNFRSF8), a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily highly expressed on malignant cells in Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) and anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL). Upon re-infusion, these engineered T cells recognize and eliminate CD30-positive tumor cells. It is primarily being evaluated for the treatment of relapsed or refractory CD30-positive lymphocyte malignancies, including various forms of lymphoma and leukemia.
