Anti-CD70 scFv CAR-T refers to a class of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies engineered to express a single-chain variable fragment (scFv) that specifically binds to CD70 (also known as CD27 ligand or TNFSF7). CD70 is a tumor-associated antigen frequently overexpressed in hematologic malignancies such as multiple myeloma and acute myeloid leukemia, as well as solid tumors like renal cell carcinoma, while maintaining restricted expression in healthy tissues. Upon binding to CD70 on the surface of cancer cells, these CAR-T cells undergo activation, proliferation, and exert potent cytotoxic effects. Various academic and industrial entities, including Pfizer and the University of California San Francisco, have developed different iterations of this therapy, exploring both autologous and allogeneic approaches to treat CD70-positive cancers.
