Anti-CDH17 CAR-T cells (Shanghai Pudong Hospital) is an investigational autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy designed to target Cadherin-17 (CDH17), a cell surface protein primarily expressed in the gastrointestinal tract and frequently overexpressed in various solid tumors, including colorectal, gastric, and pancreatic cancers. Developed by Shanghai Pudong Hospital, the therapy involves the genetic modification of a patient's own T cells to express a CAR that specifically recognizes CDH17. Once infused back into the patient following lymphodepleting chemotherapy, these engineered T cells are intended to identify and eliminate CDH17-positive malignant cells. The therapy is currently being evaluated in an exploratory Phase 1 clinical trial to assess its safety, tolerability, and preliminary anti-tumor activity in patients with advanced CDH17-positive solid tumors.
