Drug intelligence / Profile preview
anti-CTLA-4 HCAb is a preclinical-stage immunotherapy candidate developed by Nona Biosciences using their proprietary Harbour Mice® platform. It is a fully human heavy chain-only antibody (HCAb) designed to target the Cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (CTLA-4) immune checkpoint. By blocking the interaction between CTLA-4 and its ligands (CD80/CD86), the antibody aims to enhance T-cell activation and promote anti-tumor immune responses. The HCAb format, which lacks a light chain, offers potential advantages over traditional monoclonal antibodies, including a smaller molecular size that may improve tissue penetration and facilitate the development of multi-specific antibody formats. This asset is part of Nona Biosciences' pipeline of platform-derived antibodies available for therapeutic development and licensing.
