Overview

This is an autologous T-cell receptor-engineered T-cell (TCR-T) therapy being developed by Shanghai General Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, under the leadership of Dr. Xianmin Song. The therapy involves the genetic modification of a patient's own T cells to express T-cell receptors (TCRs) specifically designed to recognize Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) antigens presented by the HLA-A11:01 molecule. It is intended for the treatment of relapsed or refractory EBV-positive lymphomas. By targeting EBV-infected malignant cells, the therapy aims to provide a precise, immune-mediated elimination of the tumor. It is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1 dose-escalation clinical trial (NCT07162012) to assess safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy in patients aged 18-70.
