anti-FGFR3 scFv 3C is a **human single-chain variable fragment antibody (scFv)** that specifically targets the extracellular domain of **fibroblast growth factor receptor 3 (FGFR3)**. Isolated via phage display from a human naïve scFv library, it demonstrates high specificity for FGFR3—including both wild-type and activated mutant forms (notably the S249C mutation common in bladder cancer)—with minimal cross-reactivity to related FGFR family members. The 3C scFv blocks FGFR3/Fibroblast Growth Factor 9 (FGF9) interactions and inhibits FGFR3-mediated signaling, leading to dose-dependent inhibition of proliferation in FGFR3-mutant bladder carcinoma cells. Its evidence base supports use as a preclinical antitumor agent in bladder cancer models[3].
