anti-FGFR4 Nb1 CAR-T is a type of Chimeric Antigen Receptor T (CAR-T) cell therapy that utilizes nanobodies (Nb1) to target Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 4 (FGFR4). This therapy involves genetically engineering a patient's T cells to express a CAR that specifically recognizes and binds to FGFR4, an oncogenic receptor tyrosine kinase found on the surface of certain cancer cells. The binding of the CAR-T cells to FGFR4-expressing tumor cells is intended to induce selective toxicity and eliminate these cancer cells. This nanobody-based CAR-T technology is being developed for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
