anti-FL2 siRNA is a small interfering RNA (siRNA) drug developed by Albert Einstein College of Medicine and licensed to MicroCures. It targets and depletes Fidgetin-like 2 (FL2), a microtubule-severing enzyme that negatively regulates axon growth and cell motility. By inhibiting FL2, the drug aims to promote nerve regeneration. Preclinical studies in rats have shown its potential to regenerate erectile nerves damaged by prostate surgery, addressing neurogenic erectile dysfunction.
