Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**anti-FR4** is a monoclonal antibody that targets Folate Receptor 4 (FR4), a cell surface protein predominantly expressed on murine regulatory T cells (Tregs) and certain subsets of CD4+ T cells. It is primarily used as a research tool to deplete FR4-expressing cells in murine immunology and transplantation models[1][2][3][7]. Depletion of FR4+ cells with anti-FR4 antibodies modulates immune tolerance and rejection—anti-FR4 has been shown to ablateg CD4+FR4+ cells, affecting the balance of immune response, particularly in transplantation and tolerance disruption scenarios[1]. This antibody is not approved for human therapeutic use and is mainly employed in preclinical mouse studies[1][2][3][7].
