Drug intelligence / Profile preview
anti-GPCR agonist monoclonal antibody is a first-in-class, selective agonist monoclonal antibody targeting Formyl peptide receptor 2 (FPR2), a G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) expressed on neutrophils, monocytes, and macrophages. Developed by OSE Immunotherapeutics, this antibody is designed to promote the resolution of acute and chronic inflammation by limiting the activation and recruitment of neutrophils and inflammatory monocytes/macrophages, and reprogramming macrophages toward a pro-resolutive, anti-inflammatory state. In preclinical models, including acute lung injury and chronic inflammatory disease models, the antibody has demonstrated robust therapeutic potential by decreasing neutrophil accumulation and alleviating clinical severity.
