Overview

Anti-hCD70 CAR transduced peripheral blood lymphocytes represent an adoptive cell therapy where autologous peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBLs) are genetically engineered to express a Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) specifically targeting the human CD70 antigen. This genetic modification enables the patient's own T cells to recognize and eliminate cancer cells that express CD70, independent of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC). The therapy is under investigation for various CD70-positive malignancies, including renal cell carcinoma, gliomas, multiple myeloma, T-cell lymphoma, and acute myeloid leukemia, aiming to leverage the immune system's power to combat these cancers.
