Anti-HER2 CAR-T cells are an investigational chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by UTC Therapeutics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. for the treatment of HER2-positive advanced malignant solid tumors. This cell-based immunotherapy involves engineering a patient's T cells to express a CAR that specifically targets the Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2) protein, which is frequently overexpressed in various solid malignancies. Upon binding to HER2-expressing tumor cells, the CAR-T cells are activated to induce targeted cell lysis. The therapy is currently being evaluated in exploratory clinical studies for a wide range of indications, including breast, gastric, ovarian, and pancreatic cancers, particularly in patients who are refractory to or have relapsed after standard therapies. In clinical trial protocols, the administration of these CAR-T cells is typically preceded by a lymphodepleting conditioning regimen consisting of fludarabine, cyclophosphamide, and nab-paclitaxel (ABRAXANE).
