Xixiai HPV egg yolk antibody gynecological gel is a topical biologic product containing Immunoglobulin Y (IgY) extracted from the yolks of eggs laid by hens immunized against Human Papillomavirus (HPV). As a form of passive immunotherapy, the IgY antibodies are designed to specifically bind and neutralize HPV virions (typically targeting the L1 capsid protein) within the vaginal and cervical environment. This action prevents the virus from entering host epithelial cells, thereby inhibiting viral replication and promoting the clearance of persistent HPV infections. The gel is primarily utilized as an adjuvant therapy in women who have undergone cervical conization for high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (HSIL) to facilitate HPV DNA conversion to negative and reduce the risk of disease recurrence.
