Anti-IL-13 neutralizing antibodies are a class of monoclonal antibodies designed to bind specifically to interleukin-13 (IL-13), a key type 2 (Th2) cytokine. IL-13 is a central mediator in allergic inflammation, airway hyperresponsiveness, and tissue remodeling, and it plays a significant role in the pathogenesis of conditions such as atopic dermatitis, asthma, and fibrosis.
