Anti-ILT3 CAR-T is a chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR-T) therapy designed to target and eliminate tumor cells expressing immunoglobulin-like transcript 3 (ILT3), also known as LILRB4. Upon administration, these engineered autologous T cells recognize and bind to ILT3-expressing tumor cells, leading to a cytotoxic immune response that destroys the malignant cells[1][4]. The primary indication for this therapy is relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML), particularly subtypes M4/M5[4]. By targeting ILT3/LILRB4—which is expressed on both leukemia blasts and leukemia stem cells but not on normal hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells—anti-ILT3 CAR-T aims to improve outcomes in AML while minimizing off-target toxicity[2][5]. This approach represents an innovative strategy within the field of cellular immunotherapy.
