anti-LILRA6 CAR-T cells is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy being developed by the Second Affiliated Hospital, School of Medicine, Zhejiang University for the treatment of relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The therapy involves the genetic modification of a patient's peripheral blood-derived T cells using a lentiviral vector to express a CAR targeting the Leukocyte Immunoglobulin Like Receptor A6 (LILRA6) protein. LILRA6 is an activating receptor that is often overexpressed on AML blasts. Once infused back into the patient, these engineered T cells recognize and eliminate LILRA6-positive leukemic cells through direct cytotoxicity. The drug is currently being evaluated in a Phase I dose-escalation and expansion clinical study to assess its safety and efficacy in adult patients.
