Overview

Anti-lipase IgY (IgY-LP) is an egg yolk-derived immunoglobulin (IgY) developed by the Immunology Research Institute in Gifu for the management of metabolic syndrome and obesity. Administered orally, these antibodies provide passive immunization by targeting and inhibiting lipase enzymes within the gastrointestinal tract. This mechanism prevents the hydrolysis of dietary triglycerides into absorbable fatty acids and monoglycerides, thereby reducing overall fat absorption and caloric intake. The product is intended for both human and animal health applications.
