Anti-miR-345 oligonucleotide is a synthetic antisense oligonucleotide designed to bind and neutralize the activity of microRNA-345 (miR-345). In oncological research, particularly concerning pancreatic cancer, miR-345 has been identified as a tumor suppressor that targets the anti-apoptotic protein BCL2. While the restoration of miR-345 expression (via mimics) is explored as a therapeutic strategy to induce apoptosis in cancer cells, anti-miR-345 oligonucleotides are primarily utilized as research reagents.
