Overview

Anti-mouse PD1 (also written as anti-mouse PD-1) refers to a category of research-grade monoclonal antibodies that target the murine Programmed Death-1 (PD-1) immune checkpoint receptor. These antibodies are widely utilized in preclinical research, particularly in syngeneic mouse tumor models, to investigate the therapeutic effects of PD-1/PD-L1 pathway blockade. By binding to mouse PD-1, these reagents prevent its interaction with ligands PD-L1 and PD-L2, thereby reversing tumor-induced immunosuppression and reactivating cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CD8+ T cells) to mount an anti-tumor response. Common clones, such as RMP1-14 and J43, serve as surrogate analogs for human anti-PD-1 therapies (e.g., pembrolizumab) to evaluate in vivo efficacy and immune remodeling in mouse models before clinical translation.
