Drug intelligence / Profile preview
anti-NME7AB antibody is a preclinical monoclonal antibody developed by Minerva Biotechnologies for the treatment of solid tumors and the prevention of metastasis. The antibody specifically targets NME7AB, an onco-embryonic growth factor variant of nucleoside diphosphate kinase 7 (NME7) that is aberrantly expressed in cancer cells. Secreted NME7AB binds to and dimerizes the MUC1* growth factor receptor, activating the MAP kinase signaling cascade to promote tumor growth and transition to metastatic cancer stem cells. By blocking the NME7AB-MUC1* interaction, the antibody inhibits tumor growth and suppresses metastasis.
