Drug intelligence / Profile preview
anti-PD-1xTL1A bispecific antibody is a novel dual-targeting bispecific antibody that co-targets programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and tumor necrosis factor-like ligand 1A (TL1A). Developed by Nanjing Leads Biolabs, the antibody is generated by fusing novel PD-1 agonistic and TL1A antagonistic VHH domains in a tetra-valent format. It exerts synergistic immunomodulation through three complementary mechanisms: enhancing PD-1 inhibitory signaling, blocking the TL1A-DR3 pathway, and selectively depleting PD-1-expressing T cells via antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC). Preclinical studies in mouse colitis models have demonstrated its potential to ameliorate disease activity, supporting its development for autoimmune diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
