Drug intelligence / Profile preview
INVIVO-mAb Anti PDL-1 is an innovative in vivo monoclonal antibody therapy being developed by SET Technology for the treatment of various cancers. Utilizing a proprietary DNA/RNA-based delivery platform, the therapy delivers the genetic instructions for a human anti-PD-L1 monoclonal antibody directly into the patient's cells. This allows the patient's own body to serve as a bioreactor, producing the therapeutic antibody internally to achieve sustained immune checkpoint blockade. By targeting the Programmed cell death 1 ligand 1 (PD-L1), the antibody prevents its interaction with the PD-1 receptor on T cells, thereby reversing tumor-mediated immunosuppression and enhancing the anti-tumor immune response. The program is currently in Phase 1 clinical development for melanoma and in the optimization stage for other oncology indications including sarcoma and breast cancer.
