Anti-PTGFRN antibody drug conjugate is a targeted cancer therapeutic being developed by A&G Pharmaceutical that targets Prostaglandin F2 Receptor Negative Regulator (PTGFRN), a transmembrane protein overexpressed in various cancers including mesothelioma, medulloblastoma, and head and neck cancers. The lead candidate, 8C7-ADC, consists of a fully human monoclonal antibody (8C7) conjugated to the cytotoxic payload duocarmycin via a cleavable valine-citrulline (Val-Cit) linker. The drug works by binding to PTGFRN on the surface of cancer cells, internalizing, and delivering the toxic payload directly into the tumor cells to induce DNA damage and cell death. Preclinical studies have demonstrated efficacy in inhibiting tumor growth in xenograft models of PTGFRN-expressing cancers.
