anti-RSV siRNA-MNM is a preclinical small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapeutic developed by Interna Therapeutics for the treatment of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) infection. The drug utilizes Interna's proprietary Molecular Nano-Motors (MNM) delivery platform, which is designed to facilitate the intracellular delivery of oligonucleotides without the need for viral vectors or lipid nanoparticles. The siRNA component targets a highly conserved site within the RSV genome, triggering the RNA interference (RNAi) pathway to silence viral gene expression and inhibit replication. It is administered via the intranasal route to directly target the respiratory epithelium, the primary site of RSV infection.
