**Anti-SARS-CoV-2 immunoglobulins (bovine colostrum)** are polyclonal antibodies specifically targeting SARS-CoV-2, derived from the colostrum of cows vaccinated with SARS-CoV-2 antigens[7][5][1]. These immunoglobulins act by binding to SARS-CoV-2 virions, blocking viral entry into host cells, and facilitating neutralization of the pathogen[7][5]. The colostrum of immunized cows is collected post-parturition and contains high concentrations of SARS-CoV-2-specific IgG (and other immunoglobulins), which can be administered orally, intranasally, or intravenously to confer passive immunity[7][5][4]. Mechanistically, these antibodies provide direct viral neutralization, potential prevention of infection, and immune modulation. This approach is under investigation as an adjunctive or prophylactic therapy for COVID-19, with demonstrated virus-neutralizing activity in vitro and initial human safety data (phase 1)[7][5][4].
