Overview

Anti-SARS-CoV-2 polyclonal immunoglobulin is a human plasma-derived immunoglobulin G (IgG) product developed as a treatment for COVID-19 patients. It is designed to provide passive immunity against the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The product is being developed through a global collaboration between Kamada and Kedrion Biopharma. Kamada is responsible for product development, manufacturing, clinical development, regulatory submissions, and distribution in certain territories, while Kedrion Biopharma provides plasma from recovered donors and handles commercialization in other regions. The initial focus for patient access is in Italy, Israel, and the U.S. through clinical programs.
