anti-TM4SF1 mAb is a humanized monoclonal antibody developed by Tavotek Lab that targets Transmembrane 4 L Six Family Member 1 (TM4SF1). TM4SF1 is a tetraspanin superfamily protein that is overexpressed on the plasma membranes of many human cancer cells—including breast, colon, lung, liver, prostate, stomach, and ovarian cancers—as well as on the endothelial cells lining tumor blood vessels. By binding to TM4SF1, the antibody aims to inhibit tumor growth and angiogenesis. Beyond its standalone therapeutic potential, the mAb is being utilized as a targeting backbone for more complex modalities, such as antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and antibody-RNA conjugates (ARCs). It is currently in preclinical development, with IND-enabling studies ongoing for the treatment of solid tumors such as gastric and ovarian cancers.
