Anti-TROP2 nanobody is a single-domain antibody fragment (nanobody) specifically targeting the trophoblast cell-surface antigen 2 (TROP2), a transmembrane glycoprotein highly expressed in multiple solid tumors and implicated in tumor proliferation, migration, and metastasis[1][3][4][5]. Nanobodies contain only the variable domain of a heavy-chain antibody (VHH) and are derived from camelids, offering superior tissue penetration, high stability, and low immunogenicity compared to conventional monoclonal antibodies[1][3]. Anti-TROP2 nanobodies selectively bind the extracellular domain of TROP2, inhibit tumor cell migration (demonstrated in vitro), and may serve as targeting modules for drug conjugates or as molecular imaging agents[1][5]. These agents are under preclinical development for potential use in targeted cancer therapy and diagnostics, particularly in tumors such as triple-negative breast cancer, lung cancer, and others where TROP2 is overexpressed[1][3][4][5].
