Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Anti-XX antibody is a monoclonal antibody developed by **Pharma Foods International (PFI)** in collaboration with **Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma** for the treatment of autoimmune diseases. The antibody was generated using PFI's proprietary **ALAgene®** technology, which utilizes chicken immunization to produce antibodies against targets that are highly conserved or difficult to address using traditional mammalian platforms. The specific biological target, referred to as 'XX', remains undisclosed by the developers for proprietary reasons. The program entered Phase 1 clinical trials in Japan in 2021 to evaluate safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics in healthy subjects.
