Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Anti-XX mAb is a preclinical-stage monoclonal antibody being developed by Pharma Foods International in collaboration with Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma for the treatment of autoimmune diseases. The antibody was generated using Pharma Foods' proprietary ALAgene technology, which is designed to produce antibodies against targets that are difficult to address with conventional methods. The collaboration, established in October 2018, combined Pharma Foods' lead antibody generation with Mitsubishi Tanabe's technology for enhancing antibody affinity. In January 2021, the partners identified a development candidate for further progression. The specific molecular target or epitope of this antibody remains undisclosed.
