Antigep-Neo

Antigep-Neo is a Russian intravenous specific immunoglobulin (IVIG) developed by NPO Microgen, a subsidiary of Nacimbio under the Rostec State Corporation. It is designed for the prevention of hepatitis B in both adults and children, including the prevention of vertical transmission from hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg)-positive mothers to their infants. The preparation contains high titers of purified antibodies (Immunoglobulin G) directed against HBsAg, which provide immediate passive immunity by neutralizing the virus. Unlike previous generations of hepatitis B immunoglobulins that were administered intramuscularly, Antigep-Neo is formulated for intravenous administration to ensure high therapeutic efficacy and rapid bioavailability. It received marketing authorization from the Russian Ministry of Health in 2021.
