ANTIGN-109 is a monoclonal antibody targeting the gonadotropin-releasing hormone receptor (GnRHR), currently in preclinical development by Protheragen for the treatment of cancer. GnRHR is a G protein-coupled receptor primarily known for its role in the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis, but it is also expressed in various peripheral malignancies, including breast, prostate, and ovarian cancers. By targeting GnRHR, ANTIGN-109 aims to inhibit tumor growth through direct signaling interference or by leveraging antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) against GnRHR-positive malignant cells.
