A combination immunosuppressive therapy consisting of antilymphoblast globulin (ALG), azathioprine, and prednisone. This regimen was commonly used in transplantation medicine, particularly for renal transplant recipients, to prevent organ rejection. Antilymphoblast globulin targets and depletes T lymphocytes, azathioprine interferes with DNA synthesis in immune cells, and prednisone provides anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive effects through glucocorticoid receptor binding.
