**Antimony sulphide colloid** is a radiopharmaceutical agent consisting of a colloidal suspension of antimony trisulfide (Sb2S3), frequently radiolabelled with technetium-99m, and is primarily used for lymphoscintigraphy, a diagnostic procedure to visualize the lymphatic system and to image lymphatic drainage and sentinel lymph nodes. It has also been used for liver and spleen imaging due to its selective uptake by the reticuloendothelial system (RES). After injection, the colloid is taken up by lymphatic or RES tissues, depending on the route of administration. The diagnostic mechanism involves passive physical uptake of radiolabelled particles by phagocytic cells, allowing gamma camera imaging. The agent is generally regarded as safe in clinical diagnostic settings, with adverse effects mainly related to colloidal material or radionuclide.
