Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Antioxicaps is a combined antioxidant multivitamin preparation developed and manufactured by the Belarusian pharmaceutical company Minskintercaps. The standard formulation contains a synergistic combination of three essential antioxidants: beta-carotene (provitamin A), alpha-tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), and ascorbic acid (vitamin C). These components work together to protect cell membranes from lipid peroxidation and neutralize reactive oxygen species, thereby reducing oxidative stress. The product is indicated for the prevention and treatment of hypovitaminosis, increasing resistance to infectious diseases, and as a supportive therapy for various chronic conditions including cardiovascular and gastrointestinal disorders. It is available in soft gelatin capsules and is widely marketed in Belarus and other CIS countries as an over-the-counter (OTC) medication. Variants of the product also exist that include additional minerals such as selenium, zinc, or iodine.
