ANV600 is a novel bispecific antibody fusion protein developed by Anaveon for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. It combines a non-blocking anti-PD-1 antibody with an IL-2Rβ/γ-selective interleukin-2 (IL-2) agonist, specifically targeting and activating tumor-specific T cells that express PD-1. The drug is designed to deliver IL-2 activity directly to these T cells in the tumor microenvironment, promoting their proliferation and enhancing their cytotoxic function against cancer cells. Unlike traditional IL-2 therapies that can cause broad immune activation and toxicity, ANV600’s selective mechanism aims to maximize anti-tumor efficacy while minimizing off-target effects. It is administered intravenously and is currently being evaluated as both monotherapy and in combination with pembrolizumab (KEYTRUDA) in Phase I/II clinical trials for patients with advanced or metastatic solid tumors[1][4][5][7].
