Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ANX-530 is an oil-in-water emulsion formulation of vinorelbine tartrate, a semisynthetic vinca alkaloid chemotherapeutic agent, developed by ADVENTRX Pharmaceuticals to reduce venous irritation and injection site reactions associated with the standard vinorelbine solution while maintaining equivalent pharmacokinetics, antitumor efficacy, and safety profile. Vinorelbine inhibits microtubule assembly during mitosis, leading to cell cycle arrest and apoptosis, primarily indicated for advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) as monotherapy or in combination with cisplatin.[1][3][10]
