Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Anxinbao (also known as Anxinbao Mixture) is a proprietary Chinese herbal hospital preparation developed by the Reproductive Medicine Center of Guangdong Maternal and Child Health Hospital. It is specifically formulated to treat female infertility associated with thin endometrium and recurrent implantation failure (RIF). The preparation is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles of tonifying the kidney and activating blood circulation to improve the uterine environment. Clinically, it is used to increase endometrial thickness and improve endometrial receptivity, thereby enhancing the success rates of embryo transfer in assisted reproductive technology (ART) cycles. Research indicates that its mechanism may involve the up-regulation of key markers such as Homeobox protein HOXA10 and Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), which are critical for embryo implantation and angiogenesis.
