AOBO-001 is a botanical drug product derived from the seeds of the *Xanthoceras sorbifolia bunge* plant, a flowering tree native to Northern China. It is used primarily for the treatment of urinary incontinence and overactive bladder symptoms, including urge urinary incontinence and frequency. In China, AOBO-001 has been approved as a prescription medication for treating bedwetting (nocturnal enuresis) in children. In Hong Kong, it is marketed as a dietary supplement aimed at improving quality of life for individuals with urinary incontinence. The product is currently under clinical investigation in the United States for overactive bladder but has not yet received FDA approval. Its mechanism of action is not fully elucidated but it acts as a botanical therapy targeting lower urinary tract symptoms[1][2].
