Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Aom0315 is a first-in-class, patented small molecule neuroprotective agent developed by Aomo Pharma (the US branch of Adamerck) and Hangzhou Adamerck Pharmlabs. It is being investigated primarily for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular indications, with a focus on the prevention of neurological damage in ischemic stroke patients. The drug acts through a novel target and mechanism of action that has not been publicly disclosed. Preclinical studies suggest it may offer anticoagulant benefits without the bleeding risks associated with traditional anticoagulants, addressing an important unmet need in thrombosis prevention and treatment. As of early 2024, Aom0315 completed Phase I clinical trials in healthy volunteers in Australia, demonstrating good safety and tolerability at doses up to ten times higher than the effective preclinical dose[1][2][6][8].
