Overview

AP201 is a preclinical bispecific antibody immunotherapy developed by AP Biosciences that targets programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) and the costimulatory receptor OX40 to enhance anti-tumor immunity in solid malignancies. By concurrently blocking the PD-L1 immune checkpoint and agonizing OX40 on T cells, AP201 is designed to both relieve inhibitory signaling and provide strong costimulatory activation, thereby promoting proliferation and cytotoxic function of tumor-reactive T cells and enabling more effective destruction of cancer cells. Early in vitro and in vivo evaluations have been completed, and AP201 is advancing through patent review and early development as a novel cancer immunotherapy candidate.
