Overview

Aparolitovorelizumab (QL1706) is a novel bifunctional antibody product (MabPair) that simultaneously targets programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (CTLA-4). Developed by Qilu Pharmaceutical using their proprietary MabPair technology, it consists of a mixture of two distinct monoclonal antibodies—an anti-PD-1 IgG4 and an anti-CTLA-4 IgG1—produced by a single cell line. This dual checkpoint inhibition is designed to enhance anti-tumor T-cell activity synergistically, potentially offering superior efficacy compared to monotherapies while maintaining a manageable safety profile. Aparolitovorelizumab is currently in late-stage clinical development for various solid tumors, including cervical cancer, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and alveolar soft part sarcoma.
