Overview

A combination therapy being developed by Hangzhou Converd Co., Ltd. for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. The regimen consists of **A01**, which is the small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor **apatinib**, and **IC01**, which are **allogeneic immune cells** harvested from a relative of the patient. Apatinib functions as an anti-angiogenic agent by selectively binding to and inhibiting vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR2), thereby blocking the blood supply to tumors and potentially modulating the tumor microenvironment. The allogeneic immune cells (typically cytokine-induced killer cells or similar effector cells) are intended to enhance the host's anti-tumor immune response through direct cytotoxicity and the production of immunostimulatory cytokines. This combination is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials in China to assess safety and preliminary efficacy in patients with advanced malignancies.
