Overview

Apatinib + camrelizumab + SOX is a combination regimen consisting of three agents: **apatinib** (a small molecule vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-2 [VEGFR-2] tyrosine kinase inhibitor), **camrelizumab** (a programmed cell death protein 1 [PD-1] monoclonal antibody immune checkpoint inhibitor), and **SOX**, a chemotherapy regimen composed of **S-1** (oral fluoropyrimidine) and **oxaliplatin** (platinum-based chemotherapeutic). This combination has been studied primarily as first-line or neoadjuvant treatment in **locally advanced, advanced, or metastatic gastric cancer or gastroesophageal junction cancer** (AGC/GEJC). Apatinib inhibits tumor angiogenesis and reverses multidrug resistance; camrelizumab enhances antitumor immune response by blocking PD-1; SOX impairs DNA synthesis and repair in rapidly dividing tumor cells. The combination has demonstrated high objective response rates and manageable safety in clinical trials for gastric cancer, though it is not an approved fixed-combination drug but an investigational regimen assembled from its individual components[1][3][7][9].
