Apatinib + eribulin is a combination regimen of two small molecule drugs used primarily in the treatment of advanced or metastatic breast cancer, particularly triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and HER2-negative subtypes. Apatinib is a selective inhibitor of vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR-2), exerting antiangiogenic effects by blocking tumor blood vessel formation. Eribulin is a microtubule dynamics inhibitor that disrupts mitotic spindle formation, leading to cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in cancer cells. The combination has been studied in heavily pretreated patients with advanced TNBC, showing favorable objective response rates and progression-free survival compared to standard therapies. Clinical trials have also explored this combination with immune checkpoint inhibitors such as camrelizumab for enhanced efficacy[3][4][7]. Safety profiles are consistent with known toxicities of each agent; common adverse events include neutropenia, hypertension (from apatinib), and fatigue.
