Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**APC302** is an investigational fixed-dose triple antibacterial combination developed by AdjuTec Pharma for multidrug-resistant Gram-negative bacterial infections. It combines **cefepime**, a cephalosporin beta-lactam antibiotic that inhibits bacterial penicillin-binding proteins, with **APC148**, a selective zinc-chelating inhibitor of metallo-beta-lactamases, and **avibactam**, an inhibitor of serine beta-lactamases. The combination is designed to restore cefepime activity against Enterobacterales producing metallo-beta-lactamases and serine beta-lactamases, including resistant pathogens carrying NDM, VIM, or IMP enzyme variants.
